AADP's Annual Fundraiser, FantASIA
We had a wonderful event at the November 17, 2006 FantASIA fundraiser.
AADP's Golf Tournament, Tee it Up for Barry!
At any given time, there is an average of 3,000 patients searching the NMDP Registry.
Of the 20,000 unrelated transplants facilitated by the NMDP, 72 percent were for some form of leukemia.
As of April 2006, the total number of volunteer potential donors was 6,140,588.
As of April 2006, Asian/Pacific Islanders made up 6.6% (404,372) of the National Registry.
Asian American Donor Program and its volunteers have recruited more than 80,000 donors since 1989.
Only 2.4 percent of people registered in the NMDP Registry is of a Multiple Race heritage.
