How to Help

Here are the different ways that you can help:

Register to be a potential Marrow/Blood Stem Cell donor or donate your baby's cord blood

Registering to be a potential Marrow/Blood Stem Cell donor is easy! You can attend one of AADP's many drives, or visit a donor center near you. By registering to be a donor, you get the chance to save the life of a patient in need. Often you can be a person's only match and life saving miracle.

Volunteer to help out at our donor drives

Volunteering at our drives is a great way to help out! We always say, the more volunteers at a drive, the better! We often keep busy at drives trying to register potential donors and answer questions and need a lot of help. Whether it's helping talk to people, answer questions, setting up, cleaning up, checking forms, helping with the traffic control, translating or just giving support, your help is needed and greatly appreciated. We manage to have fun while we're at it too.

We may look constantly busy but we are always on the lookout for opportunities to reach out to more people. Many of our drives stem from referrals from individuals like you.

If you are a member of, or know of, a group, organization, or just a general gathering of people that you think may present a good opportunity for education, outreach or a drive, by all means, we would love to hear from you. We can work with you or the group to see how we can make a collaborative effort to help patients in need.

If you would like to make a referral, please fill out our Contact Referral Form. If you yourself would like to host or help out with a drive, feel free to just e-mail or call us.
