There are many amongst us whose lives have been deeply affected by blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma. AADP strives to help save lives and give hope to many such patients and patient families in need of a donor match by raising awareness and registering more individuals of different ethnic backgrounds into the national bone marrow registry, Be The Match. Because matching is dependent on genetics, ethnicity is crucial when matching patients with their life-saving donors.
