Glory Hom was the only child of Reverend and Mrs. Roycos Hom of the Overseas Chinese Mission Church in NYC and a straight-A student at Wellesley College in Boston, MA. Glory was diagnosed with Acute Myloblastic Leukemia (AML) in March of 2005. Just a few years earlier, she had been diagnosed with osteosarcoma and had a small tumor removed from her leg. Glory was a She found a cord blood match and received a transplant. Glory was recovering from her transplant when her leukemia relapsed. She passed away in September of 2007.
