Ailani

This is Ailani. she is a 4-year old girl who is kind-hearted and polite.  Just before her 4th birthday, she was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  Soon after, Ailani had a marrow transplant with her dad as her donor, but he wasn’t a perfectly matched donor.  – Recently, Ailani’s family received news that she had relapsed.  She now needs to find her perfectly matched stem cell donor.  Ailani is half black and half white, and her matching donor will most likely be multiracial like her.  Unfortunately, only 3% of the Be The Match registry is multiracial.

– “Please God, make me feel better.  Please make this go away.”
