Jeson

patients-jesonJeson (32) was born in Mumbai, India. He is a dynamic individual, who is committed to his family, church and friends. He loves traveling and as an amateur photographer, he strives to be present with his camera at every event/function. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in July 2012. After three rounds of chemotherapy, he reached remission and returned back to his normal lifestyle. Unfortunately, during a routine check-up, a relapse was revealed and immediately Jeson underwent three more rounds of chemotherapy. Jeson did not find a matching donor so he weighed his options and had an autologous transplant, a procedure using his own stem cells. Jason continues to set up the drives and register donors in the UK and India when he is able. He is also very happy to learn that as of 2014, 2 donors who recruited at his drives have gone forward and donated marrow to a patient in need.
