Mai

Mai discovered she was pregnant after a routine pregnancy exam in 2013, she was also diagnosed with acute leukemia at 34 years old. Hopes to add on to their family was shattered after her diagnosis. Mai lost her baby after chemotherapy. She was then able to reach remission after several rounds of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, her cancer returned and she now needs a bone marrow transplant. Mai is Vietnamese. She was not able to find a bone marrow donor, however, she did find an Umbilical Cord Blood donor.
