People know me as a cheeky, happy go lucky boy, with a really energetic personality. I bring a lot of joy to all those around me and hope to do so for many years to come. But my recent medical diagnosis has turned our happy world upside down. We have learnt that I have inherited a genetic illness called Fanconi Anaemia.
Although I might look healthy visibly, my bone marrow is not functioning well. My blood counts are dropping and very soon I am going to need a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, my sister Suhani is not the bone marrow match we were looking for, so my hospital has begun the search for a match in the national/international marrow donor registries.
