 Spotlight On Young Scholars

September 7, 2024

Congratulations to Juliette Leong, 2024 CML National Champion, 2024 MOEMS National Gold Medalist, 1st place winner of 2024 State of Nevada Math Championship, winner of 2024 Illinois and U.S.A. Math Kangaroo Int’l Competition, and 1st place winner of 2023-2024 Nevada Math MathRocks! Contests. In various math team competitions, Juliette’s teams with Adventures with Mr. Math took 1st place for the State of Illinois and nationally.

Juliette is youngest student ever to have won the CML National Champion Title, MOEMS Gold Medal, and Math Kangaroo International Competition State and National Titles, all in the same year. Additionally, Juliette was the youngest student ever and one of 28 students (out of approximately 13,000 students) in 2024 to score 29 points on The Math League.

Juliette teaches math on her YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/julietteleong) and she tutors algebra and competitive math through Kids Teach University (a Davidson Ambassador project)—a place where the kids are the teachers! Go to Kids Teach University (https://www.julietteleong.com/ktu) to sign up to teach and/or learn!

A big thanks to Adventures with Mr. Math (https://mrmathonline.com/), Nevada Math (https://nevadamath.org/), and all of Juliette’s teachers and mentors.

Join our Spotlight on Young Scholars series where families share their YS’s recent accomplishments and projects with us so we can cheer on and celebrate our community. Have your Young Scholar featured by submitting the details on this form!
