Amy (32) grew up in New York, and currently lives in San Francisco with her fiancé. She is an accomplished illustrator and web designer, and recently added jewelry design to her many specialties and interests as an artist. She has the kindest heart you can imagine, and wants to help as many people as possible by sharing her story of battling leukemia. Amy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and is mixed ethnicity (half-Korean, half-Caucasian), making the search for a match even more challenging. When she recovers, she is looking forward to getting married in Maui, Hawaii. Because of her generous bone marrow donor, Amy’s dreams will come true. She had her transplant in November 2014.
