Andy

Andy registered to be a marrow donor in December 2014 at the University of California at Santa Cruz.  Andy really had no idea what he was signing up for at the time, multiple friends were persuading him to sign up.  On a warm July afternoon in 2015, Andy was in his human anatomy class when he received a call from the Registry.

Andy Fang PBSC2 donor

They told him that he was a match for a patient in need of a marrow transplant. Forgetting that he signed up less than a year ago, he had many questions about the process but never thought of dropping out. Andy donated his stem cell to the patient and he is so happy he did.  He would do it again if he was called.  Andy has aspirations of becoming a Physical Therapist in the future.
