Baylor

patients-baylorBaylor, 8 years old, was diagnosed in 2012 with AML. He received chemotherapy treatment and was in remission for almost 2 years, until he relapsed and was told he needed a bone marrow donor. Since matching is based on ethnicity, Baylor needed a mixed race donor who is also Japanese and German. Update: Baylor received a transplant in September 2014. He has returned home and recovering well.
