In 1998, Bryon married the love of his life. A year later he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a marrow transplant could help pro-long his life. For five years, he and his wife courageously battled this disease. Bryon and his wife Frances founded the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Lymphoma Research Foundation to help those affected by the devastating disease. Since Bryon was Japanese and Caucasian, his chance of finding a matching donor proved to be a very difficult task. In September 2004, at the age of 37, Bryon peacefully passed away. Bryon will always remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
