A Simple Selfless Act Can Help Save a Life and Ease a Family from Tons of Grief

Cao signed up through his fraternity’s (Lambda Phi Epsilon) campus bone marrow drive at UC Davis. He received news that summer that he was a match. I agreed to everything on the spot and didn’t hesitate to donate. Just imagine if you had a loved one that was in need of a transplant..

Would you donate again?

Yes

What advice would you give to people who are hesitant to be donors?

It doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t take too much time, and most importantly you’re only giving up what seems to be so little but would mean so much to someone else.

Words of Wisdom

I strongly encourage you to sign up, and to go through with the process if you are a match. It’s been life changing for me knowing that I helped saved a life. Now, I’m happy that this man and his family will be able to continue living a normal life.
