Chenin was a fearless, creative and a true “people-person” who enjoyed good times with family and friends. Chenin was a labor and delievery nurse in Ft. Lewis, WA. She was diagnosed with diffuse large B-Cell Lymphoma on Thanksgiving Day 2008 and though she prepared for an autologous transplant she continued to search for an allogeneic matching donor for a chance at long-term survival. Her Chinese and Caucasian heritage made her search for a bone marrow/stem cell donor difficult. Chenin passed away November 2011. She will truly be missed by many and always remembered for her courageous spirit during her fight. Register today in memory of Chenin and to help others in need of a marrow donor.
