Chris Cai

in-loving-memory-chris-caiChris was an incredible person. Not only was he an extremely talented doctor, but he was a loving husband and the father of a 10 month old son. Adored by his wife, Chris cherished his family dearly. Born in Shanghai, Chris immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 13, and he eventually paid his own way through college and medical school. Chris was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome as a resident, and he worked as a full time neurosurgeon to the day he was hospitalized. In addition to medicine, Chris loved music and the outdoors. Chris bravely passed away on June 15, 2004 surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
