My name is Don and I am 34 years old, and a Software Engineer.
I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in September 2016. I enjoy driving my cars on the race track. In order to keep racing though, I was in need of a bone marrow transplant to be cured of AML.
I underwent chemotherapy, and marrow transplant and I am feeling much better. Because I am Vietnamese my ethnicity played a major role in finding a matching donor. I was fortunate to find my donor!
Don was able to find a matching donor and had his marrow transplant in February 2017. He is home and doing well.
