Kaylee is a 16-year-old Strong, Beautiful, and very giving girl. Her story began in the summer of 2012 when she was first diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). Kaylee went into remission in the spring of 2013 and relapsed in January of 2015 right before her sixteenth birthday. She needs a bone marrow transplant and she currently does not have a matching sibling or a donor in the Registry. Kaylee’s best chance of finding a match would be from a donor who is Japanese, Caucasian, Asian, mixed-race just like her. Kaylee would be so happy if you could share her story, get tested to see if you are her match, or see if you can save someone else’s life! Find out what it means to be a committed donor. Find a registration drive event in the Bay Area/N.Cali or request a home test kit to be mailed to you.
