Mae

Mae is a beautiful 9 year old Chinese girl who was adopted in 2010 from Guangxi Province orphanage. Her adoptive parents, Bryan and Robin, and their two adult sons fell in love at first sight with Mae. They all flew to China to bring her home to the USA.  At the time of the adoption, the family was well aware of Mae’s diagnosis with thalassemia. Needless to say, they welcomed Mae into their family. They want to help Mae and give her a chance to live a long, happy and healthy life. Mae needs a marrow or stem cell transplant in order to do this. Mae’s match will likely be from a donor who is also Chinese.
