Roshlind is a 16-year-old girl from Calgary, AB, Canada, who was recently diagnosed with 2 very rare diseases called aplastic anemia and Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), which only affects 1 in every million people. Roshlind visits the hospital twice a week for blood and platelet transfusions to help her survive. The only cure for both diseases is to undergo a stem cell transplant but unfortunately, her 2 older sisters weren’t matches for her. A matching donor was found for Roshlind and she had a stem cell transplant in February 2019. http://my.bethematch.org/aadp
